Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These terms govern your use of DocyLis (docylis.com), an AI front-desk service for clinics operated by Synapticon AI (“we”, “us”). By creating an order or using the service you agree to them.

1. What DocyLis is — and is not

DocyLis provides an AI receptionist (“Riya”) that answers clinic calls, books and reschedules appointments, and sends confirmations and reminders on channels such as WhatsApp and SMS. Riya is a scheduling and communication tool only. She never provides medical advice, diagnosis, triage or prescriptions, in line with India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020. All clinical decisions remain solely with the clinic’s registered medical practitioners.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 18 or older and authorised to act for the clinic you register.
  • Sign-in is by one-time email link. Keep access to your email secure — actions taken through your portal are treated as yours.
  • The information you give us at checkout (clinic name, contact details) must be accurate.

3. Plans, credits and top-ups

  • Cloud plans are billed monthly and include a monthly credit pool. Calls, WhatsApp and SMS messages draw from the same pool at the rates shown at purchase.
  • Plan credits reset with each billing cycle. Top-up credits stay in your pool until used, for as long as your subscription is active.
  • Self-host deployments are a one-time service fee; you own the deployment and pay your own vendor bills. The optional care plan is billed monthly.
  • We may adjust plan pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; changes never apply retroactively to an ongoing billing period.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful clinic communication with patients who expect to hear from your clinic.
  • No spam, marketing blasts to unrelated numbers, harassment, or anything that violates TRAI/DLT rules.
  • Do not attempt to make Riya provide medical advice, or represent her output as a doctor’s opinion.

6. Your data and your patients’ data

How we collect, use and protect data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: patient data we process on your clinic’s behalf belongs to your clinic, is used only to run your front desk, and is never sold.

7. Service availability and liability

  • We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Because Riya never gives clinical advice, responsibility for all medical care and clinical communication remains with the clinic.

8. Suspension and termination

You can cancel any time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment, unlawful use, or behaviour that harms the service or other customers — with notice where practicable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
